Foxy Brown the Rescued Hound was adopted by a wonderful family this afternoon. Foxy’s adoption is an important milestone for her new guardians. The last two dogs her new family acquired were purchased from a private breeder and an out-of-state puppy mill. Her new family decided to make the compassionate move to adopt a rescued dog for the first time. Foxy has so much to look forward to in her new home. She will be going on one-hour hikes with her new daddy every day and will have a canine buddy to hang out with. In the last month, Foxy, who was found as an emaciated, flea-infested stray on a rural road near Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary, has come a long way. Congratulations to Foxy and her thoughtful family! Saving the lives of animals is a beautiful act of mercy and compassion.
