New Rescue at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary! Baby Blair the Chick was rescued a few days ago. This little guy was found with an acute neck injury at a local feedstore. Feces caked all over his small body frame, he was being sold as a so-cal…led meat bird for human consumption. Blair arrived safely at the sanctuary for individualized care. Swaddled in a sock for comfort, this photo was taken shortly after Blair’s first warm bath. Please welcome this youngster to the sanctuary!
