While raising funds for the sanctuary’s emergency vet care fund, compassionate hikers are gearing up to complete Yosemite’s 26-mile high altitude adventure on the Pohono Trail on Saturday, July 28th. Shorter hike options are available as well.
At the sanctuary, our healthcare fund is a lifeline to aid the two hundred rescued animals who reside at our Stockton-based rescue center. Veterinary expenses for the sanctuary’s rescued residents add up quickly. It’s not unusual for our vet bills to climb up to $3,000 in a single month.
