It took almost a year. But, Matthew, the last lab rabbit rescued by the sanctuary in 2011, found a wonderful indoor home today. Matthew is among the twelve rabbits rescued from prominent research labs in the San Francisco Bay Area last year. He escaped experimentation because his eyes were too small for the vivisection procedure. Now, Matthew will enjoy life in a quiet, loving home with a compassionate human and bunny companion.
