Warm in the Winter: The Return of the Hen Sweaters
Everyone needs to stay warm in the winter, including Lois the Hen (featured above). Our first creation of hen sweaters in October was a hit. We had a special delivery of 27 additional sweaters this week for the “feather lacking” hens of Harvest Home Sanctuary from a kindhearted woman in Concord. The winter temperatures of the San Joaquin Valley dip in to the 20’s. We are thrilled to have additional ways to keep our rescued flock cozy on cool nights!
