We love to see photos of rescued animals who have found forever homes through our adoption program. Today, we are delighted to share a cute photo of Davey and Fiona (who were adopted this past weekend) enjoying dessert together in their new indoor digs in the Eastern San Francisco Bay Area!
Berkeleyside: "Pets dumped in Tilden cause problems, become dinner"
Can you lend Lydia a helping hand? This sweet girl hasn’t had a single adoption inquiry since her rescue in November 2012. Today, we would love some extra help in spreading her adoption profile around the Internet. ‘Sharing’ is caring!

PARTY ALERT! It’s Grandpa Jones’ big day. The Old Man turns two today. For every ‘Like’ on this post, we will kiss Grandpa for you!
Rescued from euthanasia at a rural, high-kill animal shelter, Grandpa found safety at Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary and got a new lease on life. Despite his senior citizen status, this fifteen-year-old rescued beagle is a born-again puppy. It’s a wonder to watch this wise gentleman run, howl, and, yes, snore with such zest and zeal. He reminds us to make every day a meaningful one.
Today, we salute you, Grandpa!

Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary’s #1 49ers fan: Mr. A the Rooster.
True Story: Mr. A (Full name: Amado) is a former San Franciscan! His golden feathers and bright red comb aptly sport the colors of his hometown NFL team.
Amado along with his girlfriend hen, Valor, were the companion chickens of San Francisco paramedic-firefighter Anthony Valerio who died on June 4, 2011 as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty. Fellow fire fighters contacted Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary to find a home for his chickens. We welcomed the avian duo to our rescued flock in memory of this fallen hero. Check out a photo of Mr. A and Valor the day they arrived at the sanctuary. Become Mr. A’s sponsor for Valentine’s Day.

A HUGE thank you to the dedicated and compassionate Deborah Claassen for fostering this adorable rabbit duo. Fostering rescued animals is a wonderful way to support Harvest Home Animal Sanctuary.
